Filing a Claim

Log a claim with damage photos, a description, and a link to the specific reservation involved. This connects the claim directly to the renter and rental period on record.

Claim Status

Claims move through a clear lifecycle: PENDING → UNDER_REVIEW → APPROVED / DENIED. Payout amounts are recorded once a claim is approved.

Using Inspection Records

Check-in/check-out inspection photos and mileage logs (see Work Orders & Inspections) are the primary evidence for approving or denying a claim quickly.
